The Weightlifting World Championship will be held over 10 days in early October 2025.
There will be heavy lifts and outstanding athletic performances every day, with finals and medal ceremonies in the evenings. You are an essential part of the World Championship celebration—come and join us for a festival atmosphere in Førde, October 2. to 11.

The number of groups (A, B, C, D) in each weight category will depend on the final entries, which will be confirmed in early September 2025. A-groups will take place at the scheduled time regardless of final registration numbers.
Tickets for the World Championships are sold as day tickets, which means you have access to all competitions on the current day. The ticket states A-pools (final pools), the full day’s program can be found here.
If there is space available, there is free admission until 2:00 PM in the dedicated stands in the competition arena, this applies every day except Saturday, October 11. After 2:00 PM, you must have a valid ticket to be in the arena.
