Fjord Fishing

At Nordica Resort Florø, guests have the opportunity to enjoy authentic sea fishing along the scenic Solheimsfjord. Whether you’re an experienced angler or trying it for the first time, the rich coastal waters offer excellent chances to catch cod, haddock, ling, halibut, mackerel, and more. It is also possible to hire a local guide.

Cleaning Facilities

To make your experience even more convenient, we’ve developed a designated outdoor area near the main building for cleaning and preparing your catch. The facility includes a spacious cleaning station with running water and sturdy work surfaces – perfect for gutting and filleting fish while enjoying the fresh sea air. It’s all set up to make your post-fishing process smooth, clean, and hassle-free.

Boat Rental – Guide on request

Don’t have your own boat? No problem. We offer boat rentals for guests who wish to explore the fjord on their own. For those who want insider tips and guaranteed hotspots, local fishing guides are also available. Our experienced guides know the best fishing grounds and will ensure a memorable trip – whether you’re looking to catch your dinner or simply enjoy a peaceful day on the fjord.

Equipment and freezers

We provide life jackets for all guests renting a boat – easily accessible in our dedicated equipment room. You’ll also find five spacious freezers available, so you can safely store your catch during your stay.

Registered tourist fishing facility

As an officially registered tourist fishing facility, Nordica Resort Florø allows guests to export up to 18 kg of fish upon departure. Your catches are logged through fishreg.net, in accordance with Norwegian Customs regulations.

Memorable Moments

We offer crab pots and a large crab cooker – free to borrow for our guests who want to enjoy fresh crab straight from the sea. For those booking a guided fishing trip, we also offer the unique opportunity to be filmed with drone while out on the water – a perfect way to capture unforgettable moments from your adventure.
